Sell in Asia before you hire a team
Hiring a full-time seller in Singapore before the market is proven is an expensive way to test it. We find the right senior part-time seller from our network, agree the targets with you, and oversee the work.
Talk to us →Deals do not usually stall at the top of the funnel
They stall three weeks after a good first meeting, when nobody in the region had time to follow up. If leads and partner conversations are already arriving and there is no one here to move them, that is the moment a fractional seller earns their fee. If nothing is arriving yet, this is the wrong service and you want pipeline creation instead.
You get a seller. We stay on the hook.
The difference between this and a contractor introduction is the fourth line opposite. We do not hand you a CV and step back. If the seller is not producing, you hear it from us before you notice it yourself.
Work out whether you are ready →We source. From our own network, chosen for your sector and your buyer, not posted to a job board and filtered afterwards.
We scope. Targets, cadence and what good looks like, agreed with you before anyone starts, so there is no argument in month three about what was expected.
We oversee. Regular deal reviews and a standing read on what is working. If it is not working, you hear it from us first.
They sell. In the room with buyers and partners, carrying your card, with every step logged in your CRM rather than in a report we write later.
multi-million
A self-sustaining APAC territory, built without a large initial footprint.
Asia Market Entry helped us establish a clear partner and customer focus in the APAC region without a large initial footprint. Asia Market Entry has helped scale our business in Asia, taking us from zero revenue in the region to a self-sustaining multi-million dollar territory over a relatively short period of time.
A senior seller in the room, without the hire
These are people who have carried a number in this region before. The point is not cheaper headcount. It is a credible person in front of your buyer while you are still deciding whether the market is worth a permanent team.
Someone here, in person
Meetings, events and the follow-up afterwards. In this region a great deal still turns on whether somebody turned up.
People who have done it
Matched to your sector and product, so they are credible in a first meeting rather than learning on your buyers.
A read on the market
Six months of real selling tells you whether to hire permanently, far more cheaply than six months of a permanent hire would.
Direct and channel
The same seller can carry direct deals and activate partners, which is usually what a first person in-region has to do.
Trained the way you train
They go through your own onboarding: your positioning, your product, your objection handling. Not a generic brief.
In your CRM
Activity and pipeline live in your system as it happens, so you are never reading a summary of what you could have seen.
Fractional sales questions
What is a fractional sales model?
A senior, experienced seller working in your business part-time, in-region, to produce commercial outcomes. It gives you capability on the ground without building a permanent presence before you know the market works.
How is this different from hiring a local salesperson?
Speed and reversibility. A senior hire in Singapore takes months to find, costs a recruiter fee, and is difficult to unwind if the market turns out not to be ready. This gets you someone experienced in front of buyers quickly, and the commitment is a term rather than a career.
What will they actually do?
Prospecting, meetings, deal management, partner activation, customer follow-up, showing up at events, and negotiating deals to a close. In practice they are also your local voice: the person a buyer or partner calls.
How long does an engagement run?
Six months minimum in almost all cases. Less than that and you learn nothing reliable about the market, because most deal cycles here are longer than the engagement would be.
Who manages the seller, you or us?
We do. Asia Market Entry oversees delivery, cadence and alignment, and runs regular deal reviews with you. You get an honest read on what is working, including when it is not.
How do you keep them on our message?
They go through the same onboarding as your own sellers: your value proposition, your product, your positioning. If you do not have that onboarding written down, we will tell you, because it is usually the real reason a first in-region hire underperforms.
Can one person cover both direct and channel?
Yes, and usually they have to. A first person in a new region rarely has the luxury of one motion, so we source people who have run both.
What should we expect in the first quarter?
Meetings with real buyers and partners, a clearer read on who actually buys in this market, and an honest answer on whether the market justifies a permanent hire. What we will not do is promise a revenue figure before we know your deal cycle.
